Attracting attention (so the copy gets read!)
Unlike many writers, Paula Johnson has design training. Unlike many designers, she has a journalism degree.
Wearing two hats, Paula offers clients a streamlined process for creating print and online communications. All design projects start with questions:
• Who is the audience?
• What do you want them to do?
• What are the specifications? (dimensions, colors, etc.)
• What photos or illustrations are available?
• What is the deadline?
In addition, she always encourages clients to consider repurposing layouts. A print ad can become a postcard or an email attachment. A brochure can become a PDF.
See the portfolio pages for samples of Paula's work.
