I’m your marketing fairy godmother

No magic wand, but I do have a way with words and an eye for design. I’d love to make your marketing dreams come true.

I’ve been working with clients of all sizes since 1984. Along the way, my work has won a few awards and earned me repeat business (and fan mail) from lots of happy clients.

In 1997 I took a year off to serve as managing editor of The Pasadena Weekly. I ran day-to-day operations, executed a major redesign, and then helped the owner sell the paper to Times Mirror. Grown-ups can take gap years, right?

Before going solo, I was the marketing director for Gravity Guidance, the start-up that launched the upside-down exercise craze with its inversion boots. The company’s incredible growth earned it the #2 spot in Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list. A few months later, the company imploded.

My career began at a tiny agency in the San Fernando Valley, where I was a copywriter and publicist for high-tech and industrial accounts. I have a journalism degree from California State University, Northridge, and have completed graphic design courses at Otis Art Institute and Art Center College of Design. (And too, too many workshops to mention.) When I’m not knee-deep in deadlines, I stay busy with creative writing, stand-up comedy, and improv.

Enough about me—let’s talk about you!
